Overview
A leading global investment organization managing over $160B in assets is seeking an Investment Systems Engineer to support its front and middle-office technology systems across public and private markets. This senior role is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining core investment management applications and ensuring alignment between technology and business strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead architecture, design, and maintenance of investment systems and related integrations.

  • Partner with Technology, Operations, and Investment teams to evaluate new solutions and optimize existing platforms.

  • Develop test plans, conduct QA, and oversee implementation and upgrades of software systems.

  • Identify system gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities; recommend and implement solutions.

  • Act as a subject matter expert for investment business applications, troubleshooting production issues.

  • Research and evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends to guide future direction.



Job requirements


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Finance, or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience in the investment management industry.

  • Hands-on experience with ABOR/IBOR systems such as SimCorp Dimension, Eagle STAR/PACE, or similar.

  • Strong understanding of investment operations, data, and technology workflows.

  • Proven ability to translate business requirements into scalable technology solutions.

  • Agile methodology experience preferred.
